CPCUG members have probably experienced a drop in email service in the last day or so, and a marked increase in spam, as our host has again mis-set our email server; or so it appears. This is the opposite of anyone's intent. |

Cpcug's Support Team worked with our host to reset our email services, which went down April first. Website failed too, but it came back mid morning. Sometime before 7:30 AM on April 1st the email failed, and the website froze for some time thereafter. The problem was an overloaded server, apparently. Intermittent problems ahead. |

As of January 8, email services for @cpcug.org is back as it was, with a few differences, also discussed on www.cpcug.org. The anti-Spam tool is finally turned on. But if you use cpcug.cpcug.org as your email server name for downloading email, you need to change it. Mail.cpcug.org is best and secure, but you can use www.cpcug.org. |
